The Swan Bay Environment Association, Bellarine Catchment Network (BCN) and the Borough of Queenscliffe are partnering in a monthly attack on weeds at The Narrows and the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve.
You are invited to join us, become a Weed Warrior and give nature a helping hand by restoring critical habitat and removing invasive weeds. It’s also a great way for you to get healthy while outdoors.
And you won’t be on your own, you will be guided by BCN conservation field staff.
Let the program begin
The Narrows is weeded on the first Tuesday of every month. Meet at The Narrows Beach car park.
The Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve will be weeded between 10.00am and 12.00pm on the second Wednesday of each month. Meet at the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve car park.
What you need to bring
BYO safety gear (enclosed shoes, gloves, glasses) and follow relevant COVID-19 regulations.
