Flowers, leaves and fruitA raceme inflorescence of 1-6 pale blue-purple flowers with dark veins occurs from September to February. Fruit is an obovate hairy capsule. The linear-lanceolate, blue-green leaves often have toothed margins. Stems are hairy and fine yet rigid.
Growing conditionsPrefers moist, well-drained soils in a full-sun to full-shade position. Will die back to rootstock in dry periods.
