The female flowers are creamy-green and can occur most of the year. Foliage is narrow and elliptic with a green smooth upper surface. The underside is scaly and whitish. Stems have a pink-red tinge. |
Growing conditions | Found in or on the fringes of saltmarsh environments. Suitable for boggy soils in a full-sun position. |
