The Geelong Nature Festival 2023 ‘Our Backyard’ is an exciting, multi-dimensional event, showcasing Geelong’s natural wonders through September and October with nature-based activities, workshops, guest speakers, presentations and displays.
Hannah Moloney will be launching the festival on Friday 15th September and following up with a gardening demonstration at the Geelong Botanic Gardens the next morning. Hannah is best known for her work in permaculture and as a presenter on ABC’s Gardening Australia, quickly followed by her commitment to climate activism. Hannah will be sharing fun ways of creating a nature friendly backyard to attract native birds and be a home for wildlife.
SBEA is involved in a number of events running at the Festival.
