|A bright, silver-white, cushion-like shrub 20cm-1m high and 50cm-2m wide.
|Flowers, leaves and fruit
|A pale yellow, globular inflorescence occurs from September to April. The silver-white linear leaves are stem clasping and scale like. Stems are densely branched and covered in soft hairs.
|Commonly grows on coastal dunes or cliffs, where it is tolerant of wind and salt spray. Its silver foliage reflects light, making it very suitable for dry, well-drained and full-sun positions.
