Flowers, leaves and fruitA pale yellow, globular inflorescence occurs from September to April. The silver-white linear leaves are stem clasping and scale like. Stems are densely branched and covered in soft hairs.
Growing conditionsCommonly grows on coastal dunes or cliffs, where it is tolerant of wind and salt spray. Its silver foliage reflects light, making it very suitable for dry, well-drained and full-sun positions.
