Size and formA multi-stemmed small shrub 10-30cm high and 3cm-1m wide.
Flowers, leaves and fruitCreamy-white, tubular flowers occur in a terminal rounded inflorescence from September to January. Foliage is grey-green, narrow and elliptic in an opposite arrangement on the stem. Stems are unbranched and younger stems are very hairy.
Growing conditionsCommon in heathland or drier woodland environments. Prefers well-drained soils in a full-sun or semi-shade position. Can spread via suckering.
