Flowers, leaves and fruitSmall green flowers occur in a terminal inflorescence from November to March. The leafless, blue-green and often red branches are made of succulent segments called articles. Segments are thinner and longer than Salicornia blackiana. Branches can be stoloniferous and root at nodes.
Growing conditionsSuitable for a saltmarsh environment in a full-sun position. An important food plant for the Orange-bellied Parrot.
