Flowers, leaves and fruit | Small green flowers occur in a terminal inflorescence from November to March. The leafless, blue-green and often red branches are made of succulent segments called articles. Segments are thinner and longer than Salicornia blackiana. Branches can be stoloniferous and root at nodes. |
Growing conditions | Suitable for a saltmarsh environment in a full-sun position. An important food plant for the Orange-bellied Parrot. |
