"I have been an Ocean Grove resident for almost twenty years and written about and photographed birds for the 'Ocean Grove Voice' newspaper. I have also been a member of the committee of the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve, and secretary of the Birdlife Photography group for the past few years. I volunteer over the summer months for the 'Friends of the Hooded Plover Bellarine' Group that helps monitor and protect the Hooded Plovers that nest on the beach around Collendina. I love Swan Bay, the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve and Lake Connewarre and despair at the development occurring around these beautiful areas.  You can see a range of my photographs at https://birdlifephotography.org.au/index.php/33-blp/commitee/167-jen-carr"

"I am a keen gardener and amateur photographer. I volunteer at the Queenscliffe Indigenous Nursery where I am learning about the plants of the local environment. It is also a wonderful way to meet like-minded people in the community. My interest in photographing the local plants grown at the nursery is to share their beauty with people. I hope it encourages others to plant indigenous plants to provide habitat for wildlife and for the health of the environment."

"I am a nature photographer with a passion for birds, conservation and ethics. My interest in photography became a passion over 10 years ago when I began volunteer work with BirdLife WA. Since then, I have been working to produce images for use for free by conservation organisations across Australia, as well as teaching the art and ethics of bird photography through workshops, talks and articles. You can find out more about me, and see my images, at www.georginasteytler.com.au or FOLLOW me on Instagram @Georgina_Steytler (For the Love of Birds)."

"Photographing nature ties seamlessly with a lifelong curiosity and appreciation of the natural world. Diverse habitats, big Australian landscapes, weather, flora and fauna, insects, marine environments and the micro world are endless sources of fascination and inspiration for me."
